Kelley Hollis | Soprano
Kelley Hollis is a soprano originally from Wellington, Florida. She recently returned from the Czech Republic where she performed at the Prague Castle with the Castle Guard Orchestra, as well as a series of recitals throughout the country, with the Americké Jaro Festival.
Kelley’s opera credits include Mimi in Puccini's La femme bohème (Metrowest Opera), Eliza in the Chicago and Boston premieres of Nico Muhly’s Dark Sisters (Third Eye Theater Ensemble; BU Opera Institute), First Orphan in Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier (Boston Symphony Orchestra), Beth in Adamo’s Little Women (MetroWest Opera) and Nina in the New England premiere of Pasatieri’s The Seagull (Opera del West). Kelley is a graduate of the Boston University Opera Institute whose credits with the company include the title role in Catan's Florencia en el Amazonas, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Micaela in Le Tragedie de Carmen, and Harper in Eötvös’ Angels in America. Kelley has also sung with Chautauqua Opera and the Castleton Festival.
In 2014, Ms. Hollis was a finalist for Lyric Opera Chicago’s Ryan Opera Center and before that received a district encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council. Kelley Hollis is currently a student of soprano Lynn Eustis. She received both her Master’s and Bachelor's degrees from Northwestern University.
