Free for All Grant

Juventas is thrilled to announce that we have been selected as a grant recipient of the Boston Foundation’s Free for All Endowment Fund. This $10,000 grant will support our free Neighborhood Series concerts and livestreams.

The purpose of the Free For All Fund is to “ensure that everyone from the Greater Boston area – children, adults, and families – will have regular and permanent access to the rich world of classical, orchestral music and related cultural events.” Out of nearly 50 applicants, Juventas is one of just 17 organizations to receive funding.

The Boston Foundation’s Director for Arts and Creativity Catherine Morris says, "We believe these organizations contribute to the transformational change, growth, and accountability happening in Classical music across Greater Boston. We are excited to support these organizations and ensembles, their remarkable programming, connection to their communities, and everything they provide for those who live in them."

Juventas’s free programs are an integral part of our mission of bringing contemporary classical music to the communities of New England and uplifting emerging voices. We began live-streaming concerts out of necessity during the COVID-era. We have continued in order to increase access to our work and ensure than anyone anywhere in the world regardless of any potential barriers can tune into our concerts. Our Neighborhood Series, designed to meet communities where they are, offer free informal concerts at nontraditional venues featuring our world-class musicians. We are honored these efforts have been recognized by the Boston Foundation and look forward to continuing the work of making new music more accessible.
