Chris Petre-Baumer | Graphic Designer
Hailing from south Georgia, Christopher Petre-Baumer maintains a diverse artistic background as an arts administrator and graphic designer.
Chris is the Design Manager at the Handel and Haydn Society, where he executes all graphic design, ensures consistency in the brand strategy, and manages the organization's website. In addition to his work at H+H, Chris is the Graphic Designer for the Juventas New Music Ensemble, Alto Section Leader at Ipswich's Ascension Memorial Church, and a freelance designer and calligrapher for clients across Eastern Massachusetts. Previously, Chris has worked at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston Flute Academy, Boston University, and the Community Music Center of Boston.
His performance career is rooted at both ends of the classical music tradition - both early and contemporary music. Chris is an actively performing countertenor and flutist and has premiered many new compositions as a soloist and as a duo with his baritone husband, John.
Chris holds a Master's degree in Arts Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Troy University.
